Interviewing Hillary Clinton at the Essex House in Manhattan, New York.

I am a Venezuelan-born American journalist with more than 20 years of experience. I have worked in print and broadcast media. I have worked as a reporter, editor, research, proofread, file news stories, features and articles. I have had the pleasure of covering important national and international stories, including 9/11 attacks, the massive 2003 blackout in New York City, presidential elections in the United States and Venezuela, among others. At just 25 years old, I was the producer of the television coverage of the Andean Group Presidential Summit in Cumaná, Venezuela. I have interviewed some of the most influential people in the world: Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Jennifer Lopez, Chita Rivera, Esmeralda Santiago, Isabell Allende, Sara Montiel, Daniel Craig, RuPaul, Laura Esquivel, Julia Alvarez, Jorge Ramos, Gregory Rabassa, Jorge Santini, Montserrat Caballe, Iman, Brooke Shield, among others. I think the key skills for journalist are enthusiasm, confidence, perseverance, and determination.
